How it started

KitchenSmart started in a Brisbane share house in 2019. Our founder, Sam, was a uni student who loved cooking but couldn't justify spending $80 on a single pan. After one too many flimsy spatulas and warped cutting boards from bargain bins, the question became obvious: why can't affordable kitchen tools also be good?
We spent two years sourcing, testing, and rejecting products until we found a range that genuinely held up — at prices that made sense. Today, KitchenSmart ships to thousands of Australians who refuse to overpay for the tools they use every single day.
